Abstract
A groin flap sling was designed to permit better hygiene, wound care, mobility, and additional splinting for operative procedures upon the hand. We have fabricated 14 slings without complications to either abdominal or groin flaps. While wearing the sling, the patient is comfortable throughout the time the flap is attached. Joint stiffness and edema are minimal.
