Abstract
In this paper, the current literature was examined from the perspectives of usability and user aspects concerning electronic and mobile government (m-government) applications and services. The current and prospective application domains of e-government and m-government were analysed and current limitations were determined. Based on the literature, user interface design issues are highly significant for e-government and m-government success. Additionally, the prospects of e-government especially in healthcare area were very strong and due to the high number of conveniences it offered, m-government and corresponding user studies are expected to increase dramatically in the near future.
