Abstract
In this chapter, we will discuss uncertainties of image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) for the context of abdominal cancer radiotherapy. As the main goal of IGRT is to ensure geometrical alignment of the tumor to treatment beams, our discussions on uncertainties will be specifically focused on geometrical uncertainties. We will cover uncertainties that occurred throughout the IGRT workflow, starting from the acquisition of the offline images for tumor localization, to the acquisition of the online images for treatment guidance, and then to the treatment delivery.
