Abstract

We have established the identity of the basophilic leukocyte in the mouse. previously undefined by electron microscopy, mouse basophils ultrastructurally resemble those of other mammalian species and are readily distinguishable from other granulocytes, lymphocytes, macrophages, and mast cells.
