Abstract
Traumatic aneurysms of the vertebral artery are rare and may appear as firm, nonpulsatile neck masses, inviting biopsy for suspected neoplasm. The clinical history and arteriography offer the best preoperative clues to the diagnosis of these masses, as illustrated in a case report.
