Abstract
Patients with transposition of the great arteries (TGA) who present in adulthood for therapeutic intervention generally suffer from the inherent consequences of operations that were performed early in life. It is not surprising that interventions in infancy and childhood become substrates for later complications that require medical therapy and surgical reintervention.
