Abstract

Wireless Power transfer to biomedical implants has been an established phenomenon. Safety considerations in terms of bio-compatibility, electrical & mechanical safety and performance studies relating to clinical use have been lacking. In this work we present the preliminary study of trade-offs between performance and bio-compatibility & electrical safety of wireless power transfer links used in implantable devices.
