Abstract
Three patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (T.T.P.) had vaginal bleeding as a primary manifestation of their disease. Review of patient records at this hospital revealed that this is a common problem in T.T.P. The presence of fibrin split products in the serum of three patients suggested the presence of disseminated intravascular coagulation.
