Abstract

The second part of this comprehensive review of thrombolytic therapy in clinical medicine focuses on its use in a wide range of thrombotic disorders, including pulmonary embolism, deep venous thrombosis, arterial thromboembolism, catheter-related thrombosis, and prosthetic valve occlusion. New experimental applications in the management of unstable angina and cerebrovascular disease are also discussed.
