Abstract
Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) is the currently available gold standard non-invasive imaging modality for determining myocardial anatomy, structure and function. In this article, we discuss the role of CMR in evaluation of patients with cardiovascular disease with a particular emphasis on the additional information obtained from the recent developments in the imaging techniques.
