Abstract

The contribution to the curvature elastic modulae kc and kc of the spontaneous polarization of the dielectric part of the membrane upon bending and that of the flexoeffect due to the double layers, adjacent to the membrane is calculated. It is shown that there is no simple relation between the flexocoefficient of the membrane and the electrostatic contribution to these modulae.
