Abstract

Sentinel lymphadenectomy is an effective and accurate tool for staging breast cancer. In recent years the details of a successful program have become better defined. The authors outline practical considerations for the performance of successful sentinel lymph node staging from a multidisciplinary perspective. (C) 2000 by Excerpta Medica, Inc.
