Abstract
The desire to photopolymerize hydrogels in vivo for both tissue engineering and drug delivery applications has led to the development of hydrogels which release little heat during gelation and whose macromers and byproducts are biocompatible. This article describes the cogelation of succinic acid and poly(ethylene oxide) and the effects of succinic acid concentration on controlled release of rhodamine and albumin.
