Abstract

The practicing gynecologist must be familiar with the appropriate surgical diagnosis and treatment of this rare but now very curable disease, say the authors. Because most patients who develop this form of ovarian malignancy are of child-bearing age, treatment strategy should focus on preserving ovarian function and fertility.
