Superficial gastric erosions: Response to surgical treatment

Abstract

The records of fifty-six patients who underwent surgery for hemorrhage from superficial gastric erosions were reviewed. On the basis of a review of our series, it is concluded that vagotomy with drainage combined with suture ligation of the erosions is the operative procedure of choice.
