Sonography of intrascrotal hematomas simulating testicular rupture in adolescents

Abstract

Four cases of intrascrotal hematoma simulating testicular rupture were noted in teenagers. Careful sonographic technique allowed for the discovery of the normal testicle in a more peripheral location in the scrotum. Duplex doppler aided in confirming a normal testis in one case.
