Abstract
Proper management of intestinal obstruction and fistula, the most hazardous complications of small bowel problems associated with pelvic malignancy, is crucial. The experience with 16 patients with ileo-vaginal fistula managed by small bowel bypass and a mucous fistula and a review of recent literature on intestinal obstruction are presented.
