Abstract

This chapter discusses the importance of collecting data to enable simulation leadership to document the activities in the center, provide data necessary for obtaining accreditation by various accrediting bodies, and to provide justification for programs and activities. This chapter also demonstrates various methods and terms used for data collection and analysis. The use of Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables will be demonstrated in various examples.
