Rupture of dissecting aneurysm of thoracic aorta into the right heart chambers

Abstract

The patient whose history is described in this report suddenly developed chest pain, congestive heart failure, and a continuous cardiac murmur. He was found to have a dissection of the thoracic aorta with rupture into the right atrium and right ventricle. This rare complication was managed successfully with operation.
