Role of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase mediating acute and chronic neuronal injury and neurodegeneration

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Cell death is the fundamental biological process that is relevant to both the steadystate kinetics of healthy adult tissue, as well as the pathogenesis of tissue damage in disease. In the central nervous system, cell death plays a major role in the normal growth and differentiation of the developing nervous system.
