Retinal detachment after LASIK

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In some patients with retinal detachments, a delay in referral to the vitreoretinal specialist is due to a belief that the visual symptoms were related to a refractive or corneal problem after LASIK. A refractive surgeon must be aware of complications related to retinal detachment postLAS IK and refer patients to a retinal specialist appropriately, to promote the best visual outcome.
