Abstract
A 43-year-old woman had bilateral LASIK with a large central epithelial defect and a peripheral epithelial defect in the right eye and left eye, respectively. Ten months later, retreatment was combined with removal of some peripheral epithelial cells in the interface. The patient presented after 18 months with epithelial ingrowth in the right eye and recurrent erosions in the left eye.
