Abstract

Reconstruction of congenital problems of the vulvovaginal region is a complex process requiring knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the genitalia. The authors explore the techniques for treatment of ambiguous genitalia in the child being reared as female, congenital absence or obstruction of the vagina and female epispadias.
