Abstract
Pupillotonia-areflexia (Holmes-Adie syndrome) and segmental hypohidrosis are described for the first time in a child. The sweat chloride concentration was markedly elevated and thermoregulation was disturbed. Additional findings were apparent absence of the fungiform papillae of the tongue and lack of overflow tearing, both features of familial dysautonomia.
