Abstract

Pediatric pseudotumor cerebri is an uncommon neurologic disease of childhood. Obesity is less common in the childhood form of the disease and there is often an associated condition. Management requires collaboration of neurology, ophthalmology, and pediatrics in evaluating and monitoring the patients. The sooner the increased pressure is reduced, the less likely there will be permanent visual impairment.
