Abstract
A 60-year-old man with an abnormal digital rectal examination and a very low PSA, is diagnosed with a small cell carcinoma of the prostate as well with a bladder tumour and lung tumour. He is cured with a combined treatment of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. One and a half year after treatment there are no signs of recurrent tumours. SCC is only described in single-center studies and case reports. SCC has a poor prognosis. The treatment of choice consists of the combination of chemotherapy and radical surgery or radiotherapy.
