Abstract

The CORE code used in nuclear analysis of the reactor is part of COSINE project. In this paper, the CORE is preliminarily used in the AP1000 reactor nuclear design calculation to verify the capability of the CORE. The calculation contents include burnup calculation, power distribution calculation, boron concentration calculation and the xenon worth calculation. The results show that the CORE can meet requirements of the nuclear design calcualtion.
