Photocoagulation treatment of proliferative retinopathy secondary to a carotid-cavernous fistula

Abstract

Neovascularization of the optic disk occurred in a patient with a carotid-cavernous fistula. Treatment with scattertype argon laser photocoagulation successfully promoted regression of the new vessels.
