Dr. Wang has served as the principal investigator in over a dozen of large-scale molecular epidemiological studies funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the United States. She has led multi-institution, multi-disciplinary teams to investigate environmental, nutritional, and genetic factors across the life span in order to elucidate the root causes and develop novel strategies for primary prevention of common and high-impact pediatric and adult diseases. Dr. Wang has published over 180 SCI indexed peer-reviewed articles with many of them appearing in high impact journals including NEJM, JAMA, and Lancet. She is currently a member of the United States National Academy of Medicine Committee on Food Allergies: Global Burden, Causes, Treatment, Prevention, and Public Policy.",
