Abstract
Pathologic myopia occurs when high myopia (defined as an eye with a refractive error of greater than -6.0 diopters) is accompanied by characteristic degenerative changes in the sclera, choroid, and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) associated with decreased vision. In this chapter, we discuss the clinical features, OCT features, ancillary testing, and treatment of children with pathologic myopia.
