Abstract
We present two cases of meningioma obstructing the posterior sagittal sinus, producing elevated intracranial pressure and papilledema by impairing cerebral venous drainage. In both patients, this mechanism was not recognized preoperatively and resulted in optic atrophy and significant visual loss.
