Optical dual-angle scatter imaging of mitochondrial swelling gives new insight into regional differences in hippocampal injury

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

A novel Dual-Angle Scatter Imaging (DASI) optical system capable of imaging mitochondrial and cellular swelling in living brain slices is presented. DASI estimates changes in particle size using the concepts of Mie scatter theory.
