Abstract

The hybridization properties of in vivo labeled nuclear and mitochondrial ribonucleic acids of a transplantable hepatoma were studied. It was shown that during tumor progression the repression of nuclear genome revealed at its early stages was replaced by the de-repression at its later stages. The hybridizability of mitochondrial RNA with nuclear DNA was not changed.
