title = "Municipal reclaimed water for cooling towers, boilers, and wetland rehydration application",
abstract = "This paper investigated the application of treated municipal wastewater for reuse applications in the power sector, specifically for cooling towers and the potential for wetland rehydration purposes. The study was conducted through performing a literature review, case studies, and bench-scale testing. The preliminary results of the ongoing bench-scale studies suggest that the innovative biocatalyst-based technology have a great potential to meet the nitrogen and phosphorus levels needed for the application of reclaimed water for cooling towers at an electric utility as well as for rehydration of nearby wetlands in Florida.",
