Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In this chapter, we present radiological findings in the brain and spinal cord in multiple sclerosis (MS), the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnostic criteria, and recommendations for standardizing MRI across centers. We also discuss the use of conventional MRI for monitoring disease and treatment. Finally, we introduce some recent advances based on nonconventional MRI, highlighting new insights into MS pathophysiology it has uncovered.
