Abstract
We present a case that demonstrates mitral valve annuloplasty ring dehiscence discovered on a cardiac computed tomography imaging study performed prior to radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation. We describe the relevant imaging findings and the clinical implications this finding has on catheter selection and patient safety during a radiofrequency ablation procedure.
