Abstract

Significant functional and cosmetic deformities can result from naso-ethmoid-orbital fractures. The best results are produced by early assessment and treatment of the fractures by direct open reduction, followed by internal fixation of the bony fragment and medial canthal ligaments. A multidisciplinary effort by a neurosurgeon, opthalmologist, and plastic surgeon is critical.
