Abstract

In summary, this report describes the conditions under which luminol has been utilized to measure phagocytosis-associated metabolic events in activated human PMNs and rabbit and dog alveolar macrophages. We feel that this system may have wide applicability to both clinical and experimental situations. Some possible applications are shown in the following table. {A table is presented}.
