Abstract

Adverse childhood experiences increase risk for a range of health problems. A statewide summit, “Leveraging North Carolina’s Assets to Prevent Child Trauma,” convened researchers, practitioners, educators, government officials, policymakers, and community stakeholders to identify com-mon goals and determine next steps in a statewide plan to prevent and heal child trauma.
