Abstract
This consensus report from a group of refractive surgeons compiled on behalf of the International Society of Refractive Surgery of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery emphasizes the importance of identifying keratoconus suspects by corneal topography and recognizes that corneal ectasia can occur after laser vision correction surgery in the absence of preoperative risk factors.
