Abstract
Radiologic evaluation is the mainstay in urogynecology. Currently videofluorourodynamics is the most precise diagnostic tool for evaluating disturbances of micturition. However, evolving application of ultrasonography, when combined with urodynamics, constitutes an attractive alternative for such evaluations. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may prove to be a powerful research and clinical tool. Advantages and limitations of each imaging modality are discussed.
