Abstract

A case of Wilson's disease is reported which demonstrates not only typical Kayser-Fleischer rings but drusen of both optic nerves. Spectroanalysis of the patient's and normal cornea, brain and liver was compared, and confirmed the presence of excess copper and no differential in silver. Copper metabolism is reviewed and the abnormalities occurring in Wilson's disease described.
