Abstract

In summary, we have described the first case of gynecomastia associated with fibrolamellar carcinoma of the liver. This tumor has a distinctive histologic morphology and staining characteristics compared with typical hepatocellular carcinoma. Thus, preoperative identification of this tumor should be attempted when presented with an adolescent or young adult with gynecomastia and a hepatic mass.
