Abstract
Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can provide information noninvasively about tissue microstructure and microdynamics at the near-cellular level. In this Chapter, we review the use of highresolution DTI to visualize the growth patterns of brain tumor xenografts in vivo in animals. The possible eventual clinical applications of the results to humans are also discussed.
