Abstract
The size of eight commercial Brazilian eyedrops was measured and compared with the size of four American eyedrops. Measurements were calibrated in steps of 0.5 μl. The size of six Brazilian eyedrops were significantly different between them and from American eyedrops (20-25 μl). The size of the two remaining Brazilian eyedrops were much larger (45-50 μl). The medical and socio-economic importance of these findings were discussed.
