Abstract

The results of an experimental study of fluid-phase equilibria at elevated pressures for the isopropanol-water-carbon dioxide system are presented. Two methods for extracting organic compounds from aqueous solutions using supercritical-fluid solvents are proposed based upon the observed phase behavior.
