Abstract

For evidence-based practice to be a blueprint for providing the best care for our patients, clinicians will need to combine the best of research with the best of practice (Scudder, 2006). The evidence for techniques to improve child medication adherence exists, but further research is needed to develop and test more child-friendly interventions in order for clinicians to provide the highest quality of evidence-based health care for children.
