Abstract

Carpal tunnel release is one of the most common surgical procedures done today. Endoscopic carpal tunnel release has evolved from multiple techniques designed to minimize scar size and sensitivity. Multiple papers have been written on 2-portal and single proximal portal endoscopic carpal tunnel release techniques. This paper describes the endoscopic release of the transverse carpal ligament through a single distal incision.
