Abstract
1. Cortisone therapy increased serum cholesterol and lipid phosphorus of intact rats but did not have this effect in ad-renalectomized rats maintained with DC A. 2. Adrenalectomized rats maintained with D′CA showed a significant increase in liver lipid phosphorus. This was restored to normal by a dosage of cortisone which was without effect on the liver lipid phosphorus of the intact rat. 3. Cortisone therapy decreased testicular weight of intact and adrenalectomized rats, but caused no change in the concentrations of cholesterol and lipid phosphorus of the testes.
