Echocardiographic assessment of the right ventricle

Abstract

Despite its limitation in assessing the right ventricle, echocardiography is a useful, portable, noninvasive tool that allows serial and real-time measurements. Available methods are described in detail and are compared with nonechocardiographic methods of assessing the right ventricle.
